The Challenge
NYRR needed a seamless mobile experience for marathon and half-marathon participants and spectators, delivered within strict event-driven deadlines.
The Solution
Partnered with TCS as the primary external developer and coordinated with additional vendors specializing in design and course tracking. The apps provided event participants and spectators with digital tools to enhance their race experience across both iOS and Android platforms.
My Role
As project manager, coordinated between TCS (external developer) and multiple internal NYRR departments, managed vendor relationships for design and course tracking features, drove project timelines aligned with scheduled marathon and half-marathon dates, and established management processes adopted by successor teams.
